The word “empowerment” can send chills of frustration down many leaders’ backs. This well-intended concept has been implemented in most industries, often with mixed results. This session will discuss what causes empowerment to fall short of the desired outcomes. We will discuss the opportunities to allow employees to act in an empowered manner with positive results for your organization. We will detail the five emotions of all customers and how to clearly and quickly “read” customers to determine the best course of empowered action. Next, we will help each person isolate their most common customer hurdles and develop an approach that can easily be implemented with their team.
