Team Resilience Training: A New Paradigm for Young Adults in the Hospitality Industry

Young adults can represent either a significant strength or risk to your business. How well do they work together? How much do they bring personal problems to work? How much time do managers spend addressing communication, health, and substance use issues?
In this breakout, participants will learn about an evidence-based approach to promoting healthy teamwork and positive work climate. The Team Resilience training was developed with significant input from CHART members in 2005-2006 and has since been delivered in over one dozen restaurants. As a participant, you will receive several “take-away” hand-outs to begin implementing some Team Resilience ideas in your local setting.
