Trainers frequently rely on quizzes and tests to measure the success of their training programs. Are your tests as effective as they could be? Are they really measuring the knowledge and performance areas that matter most? Are you making common test writing mistakes? In this session, Monique will guide you through the fundamentals of testing and the dos and don’ts of test writing. You’ll learn how to write valid, reliable, and fair tests that measure mastery of learned concepts and application of knowledge. You’ll learn to distinguish between poorly- and well-designed test questions, and you’ll also have an opportunity to practice writing or revising your own test items.
